Spirit of the Sands Marching Band

The Spirit of the Sands Marching Band is a high energy full marching unit with more than one hundred and eighty members. From parades to the football stadium, from Concert Halls to Rugby matches in South Africa, from London New Year’s Parade in England, to villages of the Italian Alps, to the Olympic Parade in Beijing, China, this group always puts on a show that entertains and keeps everyone in the action!

Selected from more than 2800 applications to be one of ten bands at the 57th Inaugural Parade in Washington DC, the band was the sole representative group from CALIFORNIA. The band proudly demonstrates the outstanding youth that are such a vital part of Palm Springs and Coachella Valley communities.
