I hope this helps a little and just know.... you are our most important trophies!!

Mr I

Hope you saw the CV VIRTUAL BAND news story... I played on it and it was a blast :

We are doing it again so please go to the link and download the music and play... it is due on Wednesday so it would be great to get going on it now. There are two, one for Concert Band- Percy Grainger’s “Irish Tune” and a jazz chart “Blue Monk” and Thelonius Monk. There are musicians submitting from across the country and maybe even from across the world coming up....  Here’s the instructions:

1. Go to www.cvvirtualconcertband.com

2. Download the music and the audio file from step one. *It's really really really important everyone uses that exact audio file because it has information in it that helps me line everything up.

3. Record yourself playing your part on your cell phone (the audio needs to play through a second device).

4. Upload the video through a form I generated in step 3.

*Per our test last night, the whole process takes less than 15 minutes- assuming you nail your part the first time.

It would be so cool to get kids and community members all over the valley to play together. Please share the link, participate yourselves, and let's make some music!

NOW FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE LOOKING TO IMPROVE YOUR CHOPS AND BECOME BETTER MUSICIANS....
